Suzuki plans to increase sales by 40% in Russia in 2022

Suzuki plans to sell 14 thousand cars in Russia in 2022, which is 40% higher than the previous year. This was stated by the General Director of Suzuki Motor Rus, Mr. Takahashi Yuta, by noting that such an impressive growth in sales is expected, including due to the fact that by the summer Suzuki plans to premiere in Russia a new crossover S-Cross, which will replace Suzuki SX4 of the previous generation in the model range.

Thus, sales forecasts for 2022 are approximately 3 thousand Suzuki Jimny cars (share - 23%), 7.5 thousand Suzuki Vitara cars (share - 58%) and 2.5 thousand Suzuki S-Cross cars (share - 19%), the press service of Suzuki Motor Rus reports. In 2021, Suzuki's Russian dealers sold 9,159 vehicles, which is 15% higher than a year before.

The bestseller of the brand in our country is the compact crossover Vitara, which was sold in the amount of 5,663 units (+4%). Suzuki Jimny SUV was chosen by 1,957 buyers, more by 52% than a year ago. Sales of Suzuki SX4 crossover grew by 26% and reached 1,539 vehicles.
