Haval introduced a new brutal crossover

Haval has unveiled a brutal new compact crossover. The serial implementation of the X Dog concept was named KuGou, which translates from Chinese as "Cool dog". Recall that the concept Haval X Dog was shown in April the previous year at the Shanghai Auto Show. According to Great Wall's plans, the "doggy" family will consist of seven crossovers on a modular Lemon platform, designed for different consumers, and Haval KuGou is aimed at a younger audience.

The novelty will enter the Chinese market in the spring, and by the end of the year the line may be replenished with new modifications. But in Russia there is no need to wait for the "Cool Dog", because at the Haval plant in the Tula region it is planned to produce a more practical crossover DaGou, which will be presented in our country under the name Dargo. To date, the Haval lineup in the Russian market includes the F7 and F7x crossovers, the H9 frame SUV and the Haval Jolion compact crossover, which are manufactured at the company's plant in the Tula region. In the next three years, Haval plans to introduce three more new models in the Russian market.

According to unofficial data, the next novelty will be the third-generation Haval H6 mid-size crossover, which will occupy a niche between the Haval F7 and H9. Meanwhile, earlier the Haval Company presented to Russian dealers two new off-road vehicles Dargo and WeyTank 300, the production of which, according to sources, is also planned to be set up at the Russian Haval plant.

As AUTOSTAT previously reported, the Russian plant Haval, which switched to a two-shift operation in September last year, plans to introduce an additional work shift in 2022 in accordance with the company's development strategy to meet the growing demand. At the end of 2021, Haval became the leader in terms of sales among Chinese automakers in Russia for the third year in a row.
