KAMAZ plans to increase sales by about 2.3% in 2022

In 2022, KAMAZ intends to increase the production and sales of vehicles by about 2.3% in annual terms, up to 45 thousand units, including 6 thousand vehicles planned to be exported. According to preliminary data, 44 thousand KAMAZ trucks were sold the previous year (+ 19% by 2020), the press service of the automaker reports.

For several years, KAMAZ has completed its order book for months in advance, and if you order a vehicle today, then, according to a rough estimate, it will not be possible to receive it until April. According to Sergey Kogogin, General Director of KAMAZ, the company's revenue by the end of 2021 will exceed 250 billion rubles, which is at least 34.5% higher than the turnover of 2020, when sales brought 185.9 billion. In 2022, the company expects to receive revenue of about 270 billion rubles. Sergey Kogogin also focused on the new generation KAMAZ K5 truck. More than 2,300 of these vehicles are already operating on the roads of Russia.

“We have ambitious plans for 2022 - sales of K5 will be 8 thousand units. For more than 30 K5 models, pilot lots were manufactured and handed over to customers in 2021. The main task was dump trucks with different wheel formulas,” said Sergey Kogogin. As previously reported, operational tests of KAMAZ-6595 and KAMAZ-65951 vehicles are currently being completed - these are heavy-duty dump trucks with single-tire tires, sales of which should begin in 2022.
