AVTOVAZ completed the transfer of the controlling company to the Russian jurisdiction


The transfer of the joint venture, which controls AVTOVAZ, from the Dutch jurisdiction to the Russian one has been completed. This was reported by the press service of Rostech. Until the end of this year, the Dutch Alliance Rostech Auto B.V. owned by Rostech (32%) and Renault Group (68%) owned 100% of the Russian automaker. Now 100% of AVTOVAZ shares have been transferred to a new joint company - Lada Auto Holding, which has its legal address in Moscow.

The state corporation noted that the French partners from Renault supported fully the corresponding decision. The distribution of shares in the joint venture did not change: 32.3% - at Rostech, 66.7% - at Renault. According to the analytical system SPARK-Interfax, Lada Auto Holding LLC was registered in Moscow in September 2021. The authorized capital of the company is 16.472 billion rubles. The CEO of the joint venture is Andrey Shpak.

As AUTOSTAT previously reported, the integration of the LADA brand into the global plan of Renault Group - Renaulution became a significant event for AVTOVAZ in 2021. As part of the plan, the LADA and Dacia brands were merged into a single business unit, which is designed to strengthen the production synergies between brands through the use of a highly competitive and flexible CMF-B platform in combination with the highest localization rate.
