AVTOVAZ summed up the results of 2021

AVTOVAZ summed up the results of 2021, in which three new LADA models were presented. So, in February, the LADA Niva Travel off-road vehicle entered the market, which received a new original design of the body, protective body kit and lighting equipment. In March, LADA model range was replenished with a new Largus: a passenger station wagon, a Cross-version and a van. The car has acquired a recognizable family design of the front end, a new spacious interior with improved ergonomics, new options, as well as an upgraded 1.6 liter 90 hp engine, according to the press service of AVTOVAZ.

And in September 2021, LADA dealers got an updated LADA Niva Bronto SUV, created on the basis of the three-door Niva Legend in the maximum configuration. A milestone event for AVTOVAZ in 2021 was the integration of the LADA brand into the Renault Group's global plan - Renaulution. As a part of the plan, LADA and Dacia brands were merged into a single business unit, which is designed to strengthen the production synergies between brands through the use of a highly competitive and flexible CMF-B platform in combination with the highest localization rate.

AVTOVAZ and Dacia will remain separate companies with their own history and strategy, which will produce together more than 1 million vehicles based on CMF-B annually, moving from 4 platforms to one and reducing the number of body types from 18 to 11. According to the plan, by 2025 AVTOVAZ plans to present five new products and the first of them will be the restyled LADA Vesta, which is expected in the spring of next year.

Two B-class models are slated to enter the market in 2023, and the next-generation Niva SUV is slated to enter the market in 2024, which will be produced in two versions - with a compact and an extended wheelbase. In addition, for the first time, a mid-size C-class crossover will appear in the AVTOVAZ lineup - it may be the revised Dacia Bigster, the concept of which was presented this year.
