Nissan reduced sales by 5% in Russia in November of 2021


Russian dealers of Nissan sold 4,677 vehicles in November, which is 5% lower than a year before. According to the results of eleven months of 2021, 45,735 Nissan vehicles were sold in Russia, which is 11% lower than in the same period of the previous year. As a result, Nissan ranked the ninth in terms of sales among all automakers in Russia, and the brand's market share was 3.2% versus 3.8% a year before, according to the AEB.

Nissan's bestseller in the Russian market in November was Nissan Qashqai crossover, sales of which increased by 2% to 1,885 units. The second place was taken by Nissan X-Trail with 1875 sold cars, which is 1% lower than a year ago. As a reminder, since November 2021, St. Petersburg plant of Nissan has been operating in two shifts, which has increased the production by 20%. As the press service of Nissan told “AUTOSTAT” agency, the company fulfills the plan of car shipment in accordance with the sales plan.

Due to the national New Year holidays, the production will be suspended from December 31st, 2021 to January 9th, 2022, from January 10th, car deliveries to dealerships will resume as usual. If necessary, shipments will be carried out during the holidays.
