Defense concern Almaz-Antey showed an electric car of its own design, which received the working name E-NEVA. According to RBK, the electric car from Almaz-Antey is a 4.5 m long crossover. The mileage on a single charge will be 463 km, the maximum speed is 197 km / h. With 824 Nm of torque, the electric car can accelerate to 60 km / h in 2.7 seconds.
The car will be built with various propulsion systems, including a hybrid powered by natural gas or hydrogen. The E-NEVA cabin is equipped with a multimedia system that includes a digital instrument cluster, head-up display on the windshield and a 15-inch touchscreen. The volume of the trunk of the electric crossover is 610 liters. Recall that in August 2021, the Russian government approved a concept for the development of production and use of electric road transport in Russia for the period up to 2030.
The adopted document will help to create the conditions for the production and use of electric vehicles in Russia, and will allow domestic manufacturers to take their niche in the global market. The most important area of work is to support the production of electric vehicles and stimulate demand for them. Such vehicles, for example, will be included in the programs of concessional lending and leasing, and from next year it is planned to launch an experiment on the free passage of electric vehicles on toll roads.
In addition, subsidies for co-financing the costs associated with the construction of plants, as well as special investment contracts (SPIC), will be available to manufacturers of electric vehicles and batteries. Producers of hydrogen fuel cells will be able to count on similar support. The concept is implemented in two stages. Based on the results of the first stage (until 2024), the basis for the mass production of electric vehicles will be prepared. By 2024, Russia plans to produce at least 25 thousand electric vehicles and open more than 9 thousand charging stations for them. According to the results of the second stage (2025–2030), their production should reach 10% of the total production of vehicles in the country.
