European sales of LADA grew 1.5 times in November of 2021

By the end of November, 171 new LADA cars were sold in the European Union countries, which is 55.5% higher than the last year. Thus, the positive dynamics is recorded for the third month in a row; however, it is primarily due to the low base of the previous year. Since the beginning of 2021, the sales of LADA cars in the European Union were 1,417 units, having decreased by 27.8%, according to the experts of the AUTOSTAT analytical agency (based on the results of ACEA data processing). As a reminder, in the spring of 2019, AVTOVAZ decided to stop the delivery of LADA cars to Europe.

The reason for leaving was the tightening of environmental standards: the current Euro 6d-TEMP standard requires serious investments in the modernization of engines. Meanwhile, it was previously announced that LADA brand will return to the European market with a new generation LADA Niva SUV, which will be presented in 2024.
