Russian Volvo dealers sold 552 cars in November, which is 46.5% lower than a year ago. As noted, the continuing shortage of components impacted negatively the sales results, which affected the production volumes, and, consequently, the volumes of car shipments. Despite these restrictions, Volvo noted a consistently strong demand for its products, reflected in its orders. According to the results of eleven months of 2021, Volvo sales were 8451 cars, which are 22.5% higher than in the same period of the previous year, according to the press service of Volvo Car Russia.

Volvo's bestseller in the Russian market in November was the full-size crossover XC90, which sold 277 units (-27%). The second result in terms of sales was shown by the mid-size crossover XC60, which was chosen by 140 buyers (-57%). The S90 flagship business sedan is the third one with 71 sold cars (-13%).

As AUTOSTAT previously reported, in the first quarter of 2022, Volvo plans to start the sales of the updated XC60 crossover in Russia, and approximately in the second quarter, a fully electric XC40 Recharge crossover is expected in the Russian market.
