GAZ Group has started the sales of a GAZelle NN commercial vehicle with a gross weight of 3.5 tons in Bulgaria. Sales, as well as warranty and service maintenance are organized in cooperation with the largest automotive holding in Bulgaria Avto Union, the press service of the automaker reports. Sales started in Sofia, where a showroom and a service center for GAZ cars were opened. Next year it is planned to open sales centers in other cities of Bulgaria - Varna, Burgas, Plovdiv, Ruse, Stara Zagora.
Already at the start of sales, customers are offered eight modifications of the GAZelle NN car, including onboard vehicles with a standard and extended wheelbase, equipped with a 3-seater or 7-seater cab, as well as all-metal vans with four options for the volume of the cargo compartment: 7.5 / 9.5 / 11.5 / 13.5 cubic meters. The car is equipped with a Volkswagen engine of ecological class "Euro-6" (engine capacity - 2.0 liters, power - 136 hp, torque - 340 Nm).
GAZelle NN is equipped with a 6-speed gearbox, which is a new development of the GAZ automobile plant. “The share of our holding in the automotive market in Bulgaria is 15-20%. By offering GAZelles NN, we expect to occupy a share of about 30% in the segment of light commercial vehicles,” said Milen Kristov, head of the GAZ division of the Avto Union holding.
