Peugeot more than doubled sales in Russia in October

Russian dealers of Peugeot sold 768 cars in October, which is 2.1 times higher than a year ago. At the end of 10 months of 2021, sales of the French brand in our country also grew 2.1 times to 6952 cars. As a result, Peugeot's market share was 0.5% versus 0.3% a year before, according to the AEB. Peugeot Expert mid-size minibuses and vans are in the greatest demand, sales of which in October grew 2.4 times to 197 units.

Peugeot Traveler minibuses found 196 buyers - 34% higher than a year before. The second generation Peugeot Partner van, which went on sale in January 2021, sold 77 units at the end of last month. It should be noted that all these models are produced locally at the PSMA Rus plant in Kaluga. As AUTOSTAT reported earlier, Russian dealers of Peugeot started sales of a new passenger version of the Peugeot Expert van - Business Coupe in October.

The novelty is built on the basis of an elongated body (L3, 5306 mm) and is offered with a 2-liter 2.0 HDi diesel engine with a capacity of 150 hp, a manual or automatic transmission and one of two types of drive: front or plug-in all-wheel drive. The price of the car is from 2 million 609 thousand rubles.
