Over 10 years LADA Granta has risen in price 2.5 times

The minimum price of the sedan LADA Granta for the previous 10 years has increased 2.5 times, the experts of the analytical agency "AUTOSTAT" calculated. Recall that the production of this model started in November 2011, and its price started from 229,000 rubles. Today, in November 2021, the minimum price of the Granta sedan, according to the Auto Price website, is already 559,900 rubles. In other words, for 10 years the rise in price reached almost 331 thousand rubles, or 145%. And this is not the limit - AVTOVAZ intends to raise prices for its products again from December 1st (see details here).

According to the agency's experts, such an increase in prices, and for many models of other brands, is explained by the incessant inflation, as well as by the collapse of the Russian ruble, which has occurred for the previous years. This year there is also a shortage of cars at dealerships caused by a global shortage of electronic components. This factor further spurs on the rise in car prices. Despite this, LADA Granta sedan remains the cheapest car in Russia, although it is now quite difficult to buy it at the minimum price. However, like many other models on the market. It is also worth adding that cars of the Granta family are the best-selling cars in our country from 2019 to the present. They previously bore this title - from 2013 to 2015.
