The experts of the AUTOSTAT agency have identified the SUV segment car, which is the most widespread in Moscow and the Moscow region. As it turned out, in mid-2021 it is the Nissan X-Trail crossover. So, according to the agency, in the capital of the country there are 56.7 thousand units of this model, which is 4% of the total number of crossovers and SUVs registered there. The second place in this rating is occupied by another crossover of the Japanese brand - Nissan Qashqai (53.5 thousand units).

The third position is occupied by the German Volkswagen Tiguan with 50.4 thousand units, followed by two "Japanese" - Toyota RAV4 and Mitsubishi Outlander (47.8 thousand and 43 thousand units, respectively). In the Moscow region, Nissan X-Trail also accounts for 4% of the local SUV fleet, which corresponds to 34.6 thousand cars. The domestic 3-door SUV LADA 4x4 with 33.7 thousand units lags slightly behind the leader. This is followed by the French crossover Renault Duster (32.4 thousand units). The TOP-5 of the Moscow Region SUV fleet also includes the Japanese Nissan Qashqai and Toyota RAV4 (32 thousand and 30.9 thousand units, respectively).
