UAZ "Patriot" is presented in the American market

Russian SUV UAZ "Patriot" debuted at the Los Angeles Auto Show. It was presented by the Italian-American company Bremach under the new name Bremach 4x4. In the US, the model costs 26.4 thousand dollars (1.94 million rubles), analogues are much more expensive. For example, the Ford Bronco will cost $ 28.5 thousand, and the Jeep Wrangler - $ 29.1 thousand, while both SUVs from the United States will be two-door, with a soft roof and "mechanics". During the day, the Bremach Company received $ 3.8 million in the form of a deposit.

It is not specified how many cars are pre-ordered, but the minimum contribution is $ 100. Clients are attracted by the low price, as well as by the extended warranty (5 years or 97 thousand km). Meanwhile, Bremach 4x4 has not been certified yet in the United States, the importer has not formed a dealer network, and deliveries are promised to begin in 2022 without specifying a month. Since the 150-horsepower ZMZ engine remains under the bonnet of the American Patriot, problems with environmental compliance are not excluded. However, the final list of specifications is still under the development. It is possible that the American "Patriot" can get a V8 engine from local manufacturers - from Ford or GM.

As AUTOSTAT previously reported, in the summer of 2021, the Czech company MW Motors, which is engaged in the small-scale production of premium electric cars, began the sales of an electric modification of the UAZ Hunter SUV. The price of the new item, which was named MWM Spartan EV, starts at 39.9 thousand Euros. This is expensive more than twice the price of a gasoline Spartan (from 19.9 thousand euros), but electric conversions based on the Land Rover Defender and Mercedes-Benz G-class are much more expensive and not every European forestry can afford it.
