Honda Pilot left the Russian market

Honda Pilot crossover will soon be impossible to buy in Russia - dealers have only a few copies of these cars. Information about the model has already disappeared from the official Honda website. Thus, Japanese brand is currently represented in our country by the only model - the CR-V crossover. As the press service of Honda Motor Rus informed AUTOSTAT, there will be no more supplies of Honda Pilot to the Russian market, and the last deliveries of CR-V are expected in the first quarter of 2022.

The company estimates that sales of CR-V to customers will continue until mid-2022. Recall that in December of 2020, Honda announced the termination of the supply of new cars to official dealers in Russia during 2022. This decision is driven by Honda's commitment to global optimization in the design, manufacture and sales of automotive products to further improve the efficiency of operations in the automotive business around the world, as well as by focusing resources on the electrification of the Honda lineup.

At the same time, Honda Motor Rus will keep its presence in the Russian market of motorcycle and power equipment, and will also continue to carry out activities related to the after-sales service of cars. The Honda Pilot crossover was available in the Russian market in three trim levels Lifestyle, Executive and Premium and has recently been offered at a price of 3 million 849 thousand 900 rubles to 4 million 639 thousand 900 rubles. For our country, the car was equipped with all-wheel drive and a 3.0-liter V6 PI VTEC engine with a capacity of 249 hp. Acceleration from standstill to 100 km / h is 9.1 seconds.

As AUTOSTAT reported, according to the results of ten months of 2021, Russian dealers of Honda sold 1107 cars, which is 15% lower than the indicator for the same period of the previous year.
