Production of the new Renault Duster has begun in Uzbekistan

Renault has begun the production in Uzbekistan of the new Renault Duster, which has become the third locally assembled model after the Arkana and Kaptur crossovers. Serial production of Renault cars has been established together with a partner, Roodell, at the ADM-Jizzakh plant, the press service of the French brand reported.

The new Renault Duster, which entered the markets of Russia and the CIS countries this year, will soon become available to buyers in Uzbekistan. The car will be presented in Uzbekistan in three levels of equipment - in the basic version of Life with a 1.6 liter gasoline engine (114 HP) and a manual transmission or with a turbocharged TCe 150 engine (150 HP) with CVT X-Tronic, as well as in the Drive version with a turbo engine with a manual transmission, and in the top-end Style version with a turbo engine and CVT X-Tronic.

In all trim levels, SUV will be offered with an intelligent all-wheel drive system. In turn, the Renault dealer network in Uzbekistan will develop in stages. In 2021, sales of locally produced cars and their after-sales support will be carried out in two partner auto centers in Tashkent, and in 2022 the network will be replenished with new full-format Renault dealerships. “The Uzbek market is one of the most attractive for Renault development in the CIS. We clearly understand that only high-quality vehicles, fully adapted to local climatic and road conditions, will allow Renault to gain the trust of more customers and increase its sales rating.

The most modern models of the Renault SUV segment meet the expectations of Uzbek customers as much as possible,” said Nicolas Maure, executive director of Renault Group in Russia and the CIS.
