TOP-10 of best-selling SUVs in Russia at the end of October 2021


The compact crossover Hyundai Creta remains the bestseller in the SUV segment in the Russian market in October. Last month, the sales of this model were 5,088 vehicles, which is 24% lower than a year ago, according to the data of the Association of European Businesses. The second place was taken by Toyota RAV4 crossover with 3540 sold cars (-4%). The third result was shown by the Renault Duster SUV - 2,924 vehicles, which is 10% lower than the previous year.

LADA Niva family of SUVs is the next, which sold 2,634 units (-53%). This time Nissan Qashqai finishes the top five of the most popular SUVs in Russia, sales of which were 2210 cars (+ 9%). The TOP-10 of bestsellers of the SUV segment in October also included Nissan X-Trail (2181 units, -14%), Mitsubishi Outlander (1950 units, -23%), UAZ Patriot (1795 units, + 8%), Chery Tiggo 7 (1,795 units, an increase of 3.7 times) and Mazda CX-5 (1,759 units, + 8%).

It should be noted that according to the results of ten months of 2021, Hyundai Creta is the leader among SUV models with 58,487 sold cars (-1%). This is followed by the off-road vehicle LADA Niva, which was sold in the amount of 42,265 units (+ 14%) and Renault Duster, the sales of which were 32,702 vehicles (+ 34%).
