Geely increased sales 1.5 times in Russia in October 2021

Russian Geely dealers sold 3,002 vehicles in October, which is 49% higher than the previous year. According to the results of ten months of 2021, 19,653 cars of the Chinese brand (+ 67%) were sold in Russia, the press service of Geely reports.

The best-selling Geely model in the Russian market in October was the Coolray compact crossover with 1294 sold cars (+ 51%). The second place by popularity was taken by Geely Atlas crossover, sales of which decreased by 17% and reached 820 cars. The new Geely Atlas Pro crossover with a mild hybrid system finishes the top three of Geely bestsellers, which went on sale on September 15th, and sold 515 units at the end of the previous month. The novelty will gradually replace the Atlas model, popular in our country, which has long been Geely's bestseller in the Russian market.

As previously reported by AUTOSTAT, in the second half of 2022, a new flagship mid-size crossover KX11 is expected in Russia, which was presented at the Shanghai Motor Show the previous spring. In addition, the company is considering the possibility of introducing Geometry C electric vehicles to the Russian market, but a decision on this issue can be made no earlier than the next year.
