New Range Rover will appear in Russia

Land Rover has unveiled its fifth generation Range Rover SUV, which will be produced exclusively at Land Rover's Solihull plant, the model's historic home. With the new MLA-Flex body architecture, the car is available in both standard and long wheelbases and, for the first time in Range Rover history, with a seven-seater configuration, according to the press service of the British brand.

The line of engines with which the new Range Rover will be supplied to Russia is headed by the new flagship petrol 530-horsepower V8, which generates a maximum torque of 750 Nm. It allows the full-size SUV to accelerate from 0 to 100 km / h in Dynamic Launch regime in just 4.6 seconds and reach a top speed of 250 km / h. The most powerful Ingenium diesel engine in the new Range Rover is the D350. This 3.0-liter in-line six-cylinder engine with twin turbochargers generates a maximum torque of 700 Nm between 1,500 and 3,000 rpm, allowing the car to accelerate from 0 to 100 km / h in 6.1 seconds. Another diesel engine available in the Russian market, the 249-horsepower D250 with a peak torque of 600 Nm, accelerates the SUV to 100 km / h in 8.3 seconds.

All new Range Rovers are equipped with an 8-speed ZF automatic transmission. The electrically powered Range Rover will join the luxury SUV line-up in 2024 and will be the first all-electric Land Rover. All Jaguar and Land Rover models will be available in all-electric versions by the end of 2030, helping the company achieve zero carbon emissions at all stages of production and throughout the supply chain by 2039.
