Avtotor starts the export of Kia cars

Kaliningrad plant "Avtotor" began the export of the fourth generation Kia Sorento crossovers to Belarus. By the end of 2021, it is planned to supply several more lots of Kia cars to the Belarusian market, including the Seltos, Sportage and Sorento models, the press service of Avtotor reports. Recall that the first deliveries of the Kaliningrad enterprise's products to Belarus began in December of 2017, when a pilot batch of Hyundai HD78 commercial vehicles was shipped.

Since March 2018, export deliveries of passenger cars have been carried out - Hyundai Santa Fe Premium and Hyundai Elantra. In the future, Avtotor, together with existing partners, intends to expand the model range and the number of vehicles supplied outside of Russia. As a reminder, today the enterprise produces cars under the brands Kia, Hyundai and BMW. At present, Avtotor produces four models of passenger cars and five models of commercial vehicles Kia and Hyundai on a full technological cycle with welding and painting of bodies.

By the end of 2021, the volume of full-cycle car production is expected to increase by 50%. In addition, in 2023 Avtotor plans to start the production of electric vehicles.
