AVTOVAZ raised prices for the sixth time since the beginning of the year

On October 18th AVTOVAZ increased prices for its cars for the sixth time since the beginning of the year. According to the updated price lists, all LADA models have risen in price by 0.9 - 2.7% or by 6,600 - 20,000 rubles. Let us remind you that the previous increase in prices for LADA cars took place from the beginning of September, and for the Granta family there was a second increase in mid-September, writes the Price Auto portal.

As previously reported by AUTOSTAT, in September AVTOVAZ sold 17,189 LADA cars in the Russian market, which is 51% lower than a year before. According to the results of nine months of 2021, Russian dealers of LADA sold 268,849 cars, which is 18% higher than in the same period of the previous year. As a result, the market share of LADA since the beginning of the year was 21.3% against 20.8% a year before, according to the AEB.

Let us remind you that assembly lines at AVTOVAZ have been operating intermittently since June of this year. This is due to problems with the supply of electronics components from Robert Bosch Samara, which, in turn, is experiencing difficulties in working with its suppliers. Meanwhile, AVTOVAZ plans to make up for the production losses by working on Saturdays and organizing 9-hour work shifts after the situation with the supply of components from Robert Bosch Samara is normalized.
