New Volkswagen Teramont found its first buyer in Russia

The new Volkswagen Teramont, which became available for order at Russian dealers of the brand at the end of September, was handed over to the first customer in our country. The buyer chose the car in the Status configuration with a 2.0-liter 220 hp engine, which is paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission and 4Motion all-wheel drive, according to the press service of the German brand.

Recall that Teramont is the largest model in the Volkswagen lineup, built on the modular MQB platform. In the Russian market, the car is available with two petrol engines to choose from: R4 TSI 220 hp and VR6 FSI 249 hp. The powertrains are paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission and 4Motion all-wheel drive. The novelty is presented in four trim levels: Respect, Status, Exclusive and R-Line. The starter version of Respect features by 18-inch Titan alloy wheels, Basis Plus LED low and high beam headlights with separate daytime running lights, body-colored bumpers with decorative trim, black roof rails and black side windows.

This version of the model is equipped with a multifunctional steering wheel with artificial leather trim and heating, decorative inserts on the dashboard and in the door trim. Among the functional equipment of the package: there are external rear-view mirrors with electric adjustment, heating and manual folding, dynamic auto-corrector of headlights, Park Pilot parking assistance system with front and rear sensors with a warning sound signal, as well as a rear-view camera. Depending on the equipment, the car can be additionally equipped with a panoramic roof with a sliding sunroof, a net for securing cargo in the trunk, a parking heater with a remote control and a timer and individual second-row seats.
