By the end of 2021, Haval plans to sell twice more cars in the Russian market than in the previous year (17,258 cars). And the next year –it is planned to double the results of 2021. This was announced by Jerome Sego, Executive Director of Haval Russia. Thus, the Haval plant in the Tula region will reach practically the planned production capacity of 80 thousand vehicles per a year. This will be helped not only by an increase in the production of current models, but also by the release of new products, which should spur demand even more.

The names of the new models have not been disclosed, but according to unofficial data, it will be the third-generation Haval H6 mid-size crossover, which will occupy the niche between the Haval F7 and H9, as well as the new Dargo SUV, known in China as the Big Dog. Next year, Haval plans to open a plant for the production of engines that will power 90% of the brand's cars in Russia. In addition, Haval plant in the Tula region intends to expand the geography of exports. Today, Russian-made cars are supplied to Belarus, Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan. In general, export still accounts for 5% of the total output of the enterprise.

Recall that today the Haval lineup in the Russian market includes the F7 and F7x crossovers, the H9 frame SUV and the new Haval Jolion compact crossover, which are produced at the company's plant in the Tula region. In the next three years, Haval plans to introduce four more new models to the Russian market, including the GWM Poer pickup, which went on sale in June. As AUTOSTAT reported earlier, in September Russian dealers of Haval sold 3,513 cars, which is 2.5 times higher than the previous year.
