05 julymore infoAnalytic agency "AUTOSTAT" has compiled the rating of the world's largest car markets in 2018. The undisputed leader here is the Chinese vehicle market, in which 23.8 million new passenger and light commercial vehicles were sold during the year, which is less by 4.1% than the result of 2017.
The Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia does not exclude that from 2023, preferential car loans will be issued for cars more expensive than the 1.5 million rubles established by the terms of the program, said the head of the Ministry, Denis Manturov. At the same time, he did not rule out that in 2023 the program of preferential car loans will be expanded with new categories of citizens, but this will depend on the situation in the Russian car market.
Earlier, the Ministry of Industry and Trade proposed to issue preferential car loans to employees of institutions of the state education system from 2022, as well as include electric cars in the program (25% discount). Recall that at present, employees of state medical institutions, families with one child, citizens who have handed over their cars over six years in trade-in, as well as those who buy a car for the first time, can buy a car on a preferential loan.
The terms of the program allow these categories of citizens to receive a 10% discount for the first installment when buying a new Russian-made car worth up to 1.5 million rubles. As Mr. Manturov reported earlier, the issuance of preferential car loans will not be resumed at least until the end of this year. The decision on the terms of the launch of the program in 2022 at the Ministry of Industry and Trade will be made at the end of this year, based on the market situation.
In general, about 10 billion rubles are allocated to support demand for cars in 2022.
