Which Russian regions have the most motorcycles?

The largest fleet of motor vehicles is concentrated in the Krasnodar Territory, experts of the analytical agency "AUTOSTAT" found out. As of mid-2021, 112.3 thousand motorcycles were registered, which is 5% of the total number in the country. The second place in this rating is occupied by the Primorsky Territory (98.8 thousand units), the share of which in the total volume is 4.3%.

Further, with practically equal indicators, there is Bashkortostan and Saratov region (95.7 thousand and 95.4 thousand units, respectively), with a share of 4.2%. Moscow is only the fifth one in this rating - its motorcycle fleet reached 88 thousand units (share - 3.9%). In addition to those listed, the TOP-10 constituent entities of the Russian Federation with the largest number of motorcycles also include: Tula region (81.6 thousand units), Sverdlovsk region (79.7 thousand units), Nizhny Novgorod region (70.6 thousand units), Kirov region (67.7 thousand units), and the Moscow region finishes the top-ten of regional motorcycle fleets (67.3 thousand units).

Each of the remaining regions has less than 60 thousand motorcycles, and their share is less than 3%. As already reported by AUTOSTAT, in the middle of the year there were about 2.3 million units of motor vehicles in Russia.
