How many right-hand drive vehicles are there in Russia?

There are 4 million units of right-hand drive vehicles in our country (as of mid-2021). According to the experts of the agency "AUTOSTAT", this is 7.6% of the total number of vehicles. The overwhelming majority of "right-hand drive" cars are in the passenger car segment. They were registered in the amount of 3.4 million units, which also correspond to 7.6% of the total passenger fleet. Among light commercial vehicles (LCV), the share of right-hand drive vehicles is higher - 12.1%.

All in all, there are 500 thousand of such cars. In trucks, the share of right-hand drive vehicles is 3.4%, which is equivalent to 126 thousand units. But the lowest such indicators are among buses (2.4 thousand units; share - 0.6%).
