Which brands have increased the car prices in the second half of August?

At the end of summer, there was a certain lull in the Russian car market - most brands decided to postpone updating their prices until the traditional "autumn wave". Therefore, in the period from August 16 to August 31, 2021, experts of the Auto Price website recorded an increase in prices for only 6 brands officially presented in the market.

Among the most popular brands, we note Kia, which increased the value of its bestseller Rio by 0.8 - 1.1%. In addition, eight more models from the product line of the Korean brand became more expensive by 0.5 - 2.0%. Three Japanese brands have updated price lists for selected models. This happened at Mazda, where the Mazda6 sedan and the CX-9 crossover rose by 0.8 - 1.2%. But at Nissan and Subaru, price increases affected most of the model range and varied within 0.9-1.7% and 0.7-1.2%, respectively.

In the segment of premium brands, the price increase was recorded for three Jeep models (by 1.4 - 2.2%), as well as for 15 BMW models (by 0.5 - 5.2%). At the same time, the German brand traditionally updated the price lists in advance, and the new prices began to operate on September 1st. By the way, the Russian AVTOVAZ also announced a rise in prices since the beginning of autumn, and the growth in value here is 2.0-4.2%.

In addition, experts predict a rise in prices for the overwhelming majority of other brands represented in our country.
