Every fourth car in Vladivostok is Toyota

It is not a secret that practically all the Far East is under the grip of japanese second hand cars. The cars of other makes, different from japanese ones, are out of concurrence and not popular. This fact was confirmed by the automotive statistics.
On data of the analytic agency AUTOSTAT, reported in the marketing report Automotive parks of cities of Russia, 48, 7% of the park of passenger cars of Vladivostok account for the share of brand Toyota. Nissan is the second popular car make in Primorje. It occupies 15% of park of Vladivostok. The preferences of other makes of people of Vladivostok are: Mitsubishi (7%), Honda (4, 8%), Mazda (4, 1%), Suzuki (2, 4%), Subaru (2, 1%) and Isuzu (1, 6%). In total, the analysts note that 87% of park account for the share of japanese makes. By the way, a majority of old russian models are still registered in GIBDD of Vladivostok. 4, 4% of park of this city account for the share of Togliattis brand LADA; the majority of them are classic and Niva models. Moskvitch models occupy 2, 3% of the park, Zaporoghetz and UAZ models 1, 4 %, 1, 1% account for the share of GAZ. In total, russian (including former soviet models) constitute a bit over 10% of the park.
American, european, korean and Chinese makes are rare in the Far East. Less than 3% of park of Vladivostok account for the share of the rest global automotive industry (different from japanese and russian one), as the analysts establish. They also say that the automotive park of Vladivostok is the oldest one among the big cities of Russia. The share of cars at the age of 10 years and older exceeds 80% here. Compare: in Moscow there are 37% of them and in St.-Petersburg 38%. However, in Vladivostok every second citizen has a car.
