10% of women bought their new car on impulse

For most Russians, buying a car is an important decision, the result of long deliberation and the collection of a wide variety of information - about prices and trim levels, about the technical capabilities of the car and about credit programs, about the seller and much more. The poll, conducted by the specialists of the analytical agency "AUTOSTAT", showed that men and women approach buying a car with their own "gender" characteristics.

For example, when choosing a used car, more than a half of women (58%) discuss its characteristics with relatives and friends, and only 42% make a choice completely independently. But when buying a new car, ladies feel more confident, and 57% of them do not need outside advice. Another interesting point: women spend less time studying information about a car than men. Moreover, about 10% of women admitted that they bought their new car on impulse.
