Avtotor will hire 300 new workers in connection with the deepening of production technology

In connection with the modernization and deepening of the production technology at the Avtotor enterprises in the Kaliningrad region, new jobs are being created. To date, 300 new vacancies have been opened. “This is due to the large-scale modernization of the paint production, which implies an increase in productivity by 20%.

It is planned that by the end of 2021, the production volume of the full production cycle with welding and painting of bodies will be increased by 50%. Deepening the technology requires additional operations ... ”, said Oleg Shirkin, HR Director of the enterprise. As previously reported by AUTOSTAT, Kaliningrad plant Avtotor began a large-scale modernization of the paint production, which will take place from July 17th to September 4th, 2021. As a result of the modernization, it is planned to increase the productivity of the painting production by 20% - from 10 to 12 bodies per hour.

The paint shop will be ready to complete the specified body paint volumes in all colors by October 1, 2021. At present, Avtotor produces four models of passenger cars and five models of commercial vehicles Kia and Hyundai on a full technological cycle with welding and painting of bodies. Expansion and renewal of production facilities will make it possible to reach the figure of 50 thousand bodies per a year.
