New Hyundai Creta has caused a rush of demand in Russia


Russian Hyundai dealers sold 13,383 vehicles in July, which is 7% lower than a year before. According to the results of seven months of 2021, Hyundai sales in our country were 104,453 cars (+ 34%). According to the press service of Hyundai Motor CIS, the compact crossover Hyundai Creta became the bestseller of the brand in July with 5246 sold cars (-26%).

It is worth noting the explosive demand for the second generation model: the new Creta went on sale on July 26 and sold 579 units in the first week. The second most popular sedan is Hyundai Solaris sedan, sales of which grew by 13% and reached 4592 vehicles. The fourth generation Hyundai Tucson crossover, which entered the Russian market at the end of May, found 1,372 buyers at the end of last month (+ 7%).

This is followed by the updated crossover Hyundai Santa Fe, with 742 sold cars (-6%). This time, the business sedan Sonata finished the top five Russian bestsellers of Hyundai, sales of which decreased by 6% to 643 vehicles. As "AUTOSTAT" reported earlier, in September Russian dealers are expected to have a Staria minivan, which will replace the previous generation of the H-1 model.
