KAMAZ received 2.8 billion rubles of net profit according to RAS in the 1st half of the year

According to the results of the first half of 2021, KAMAZ increased its revenue from 74 billion 568 million rubles to 112 billion 334 million rubles according to RAS. Net profit of KAMAZ for the first six months of this year has grown more than five times in compare with the first half of 2020 - from 554 million rubles to 2 billion 833 million rubles, the press service of the automaker reports.

“The achieved indicators are the results of work on the development of a model range of cargo and passenger vehicles, successful implementation of investment projects aimed at mastering advanced production technologies, on which the company's team has been working for several years. In addition, we managed to achieve good financial results in the first half of this year due to the active sale of KAMAZ-54901 vehicles - a novelty of the K5 generation model range, which we introduced to the market the previous year.

There was also a stable demand for K4 generation vehicles powered by compressed and liquefied natural gas, and the supply of passenger vehicles to Russian regions was active. In addition, measures of state support provided to the automotive industry contributed to the achievement of high financial results,” commented Sergey Kogogin, General Director of KAMAZ.

As previously reported by AUTOSTAT, KAMAZ increased the production by 28% in the first half of 2021, having produced 21,352 trucks, which is 28% higher than in the same period of the previous year.
