Every tenth Renault vehicle is sold through online showroom

Renault Russia has sold more than 68 thousand vehicles through the online showroom for 5 years. During this time, the share of online sales of the brand increased from 0.3% in 2016 to 9.5% in 2021. Today, in addition to online vehicle purchase, Renault offers a wide range of digital services for vehicle selection and maintenance.

According to Renault press service, during the first six months of this year alone, more than 20 thousand people have used them. TOP-3 models purchased through the online showroom are the Arkana, the Kaptur, the Sandero Stepway, mainly in Prime, Style and Pulse versions. According to Jan Ptacek, General Director of Renault in Russia and the CIS, 5 years ago Renault was the first automotive manufacturer in the Russian market to offer the vehicle purchase through the Internet, launching its own online showroom.

Due to close collaboration with the dealer network, 150 dealer centers in all cities where Renault is represented are now integrated into the online showroom. The most active of them are Moscow and Moscow Region, St. Petersburg and Leningrad Region, the Republic of Tatarstan, Sverdlovsk, Samara, Nizhny Novgorod, Chelyabinsk and Penza Regions, Perm Territory and the Republic of Bashkortostan.

An online showroom customer is on average 13% younger than a customer of a dealer network. There is a large proportion of women who make an online purchase - it is 18% more than offline. In addition, customers are willing to spend 19% more when ordering online.
