Genesis summed up the results of the 1st half of the year: sales doubled in the Russian Federation

The premium brand Genesis has reported its performance in 1H 2021. According to the press service of the Korean brand, sales of Genesis cars in January-June 2021 were 1,335 units, which is 99% higher than in the same period of 2020.

The company notes that this is a unique result in the premium segment, achieved for less than 5 years of work in Russia. The first GV80 crossover became the bestseller of Genesis brand at the end of the first half of the year - during the specified period, 853 such cars were sold in our country. G80 business sedan is the second one by popularity with 291 sold units. The third one was G70 sports sedan, sales of which were 104 cars.

As for the flagship sedan Genesis G90, its sales were 87 cars. Recall that in 2021, the Genesis brand celebrates five years of presence in Russia, and is preparing to present two new items at once in the autumn: the dynamic urban crossover GV70, which will become the first mid-size SUV in the lineup, and the updated G70 sports sedan, which has received a number of important improvements. According to the forecasts of representatives of Genesis, the new GV70 will be popular among customers and can become the second most popular model of the brand in Russia, taking place one line below the model GV80.
