Hyundai Creta got back its title of SUV segment leader in June

Hyundai Creta crossover became the bestseller in the SUV segment in the Russian market in June. Last month, sales of the Korean model, according to the AEB, were 7,315 vehicles, which is 14% higher than a year ago. Thus, a month later, Creta regained the title of the leader in the SUV segment. The second place was taken by the domestic off-road vehicle LADA Niva with 5399 sold cars (+ 28%).

As a reminder, it was the best-selling SUV model in May. The third result was shown by Renault Duster - 4,875 cars, which is 91% higher than in June 2020. Volkswagen Tiguan comes the next, with 3563 sold units (+ 66%). The top-five of the most popular SUVs in Russia is finished by Toyota RAV4, with 2,662 sold cars - at the level of a year ago.

The TOP-10 of bestsellers of the SUV segment in June 2021 also included: Skoda Karoq (2426 units; + 40%), Hyundai Santa Fe (2213 units; an increase of 2.5 times), KIA Seltos (2100 units; + 48%), KIA Sportage (1971 units; -6%) and Renault Arkana (1889 units; + 17%).
