DAF celebrates 10 years of official representation of the brand in Russia

The truck manufacturer DAF celebrates the 10th anniversary of the official representation of the brand in Russia. The first event dedicated to this anniversary took place in June at the ADM Raceway Myachkovo, according to the press service of DAF Trucks Rus. 11 DAF vehicles were on display: CF and XF tractors, including the LowDeck version, and CF and LF chassis with bodies for various applications: dump trucks, concrete mixer trucks and garbage trucks, as well as an onboard platform with a loader crane.

DAF gave guests the opportunity to test drive DAF XF tractors with Super Space Cab and Space Cab on a real race track. Additionally, a zone for simulating maneuvering in urban space on built-up chassis was created on a special site. In the official part, the head of the DAF Trucks Rus representative office, Ari Hendrix, spoke about the achievements in the Russian market for the previous 10 years. He noted that over 10 years, more than 25 thousand DAF vehicles were handed over to customers, and the DAF fleet in Russia as of January 1st, 2021 exceeded the mark of 50 thousand trucks.

The dealer network is represented by 30 service stations; the number of outlets selling original spare parts under the DAF and TRP brands has grown to 21. Dealers have invested about 60 million Euros in the construction of DAF service stations, which is 10% of the investment in the development of the whole DAF dealer network in Europe.
