Hyundai spoke about the prospects of the new Creta

The new Hyundai Creta will keep its leadership in the SUV segment in the Russian car market, which for almost 5 years belonged to the previous generation of the model. This was announced at the presentation of the novelty by the general director of the Hyundai Motor Manufacturing Rus plant, JuSuchoun, by noting that Hyundai Creta is one of the key models on the production line of the enterprise in St. Petersburg.

According to Andrey Kazak, director of the production department of the Hyundai Motor Manufacturing Rus plant, since the start of production of the first generation Hyundai Creta in August 2016, more than 355 thousand of these cars have been produced. The production plan for 2021 includes the production of 40 thousand first-generation Hyundai Creta crossovers, which will be completed at the end of June. As early as July 1st, mass production of the new "Creta" will start at the plant in St. Petersburg, and by the end of the year, 20 thousand of these vehicles should come off the assembly line. In total, this year the company plans to produce 230 thousand cars of all models (+ 5% by 2020).

In Russia, the new generation of Hyundai Creta will be presented with two engines - atmospheric gasoline units Gamma 1.6 MPI (123 hp and 121 hp) and Nu 2.0 MPI with 149.6 hp. The choice will be available in five trim levels of the crossover (Prime, Classic, Family, Lifestyle, Prestige) and a special version of Smart.
