AVTOVAZ began the sales of the first LADA model connected to the telematics platform LADA Connect, which allows remote control of vehicle systems using a smartphone. Individual terms of service and special insurance programs will be also available to buyers of the "connected" version of Granta, the press service of AVTOVAZ reported.

The new telematics system LADA Connect is offered as an option for various configurations at a price of 12 thousand rubles, including 3 years of service. With the help of LADA Connect, car owners will be able to monitor remotely the state of the car and control safely some of its functions through the application installed in the smartphone (Android or iOS), for example: opening doors and trunk, heating and air conditioning the passenger compartment, starting the engine, light and sound signals, checking the stock level fuel and battery charge, notifications about evacuation, impact or malfunctions in the operation of the car systems, as well as the telematics platform LADA Connect allows owners to receive information about the location of the car in real time.

In addition, Granta buyers with LADA Connect will be able to keep a dialogue with the dealer through the application - ask questions, report faults, sign up for a maintenance service, and receive useful information about the operation of the car.
