As noted in the review of the European car market for April, among automakers, Volkswagen sold the largest number of cars in the European Union - 120,626 cars (an increase of 3.3 times). Peugeot is the second one with 70,361 cars (an increase of 4.7 times). The third place is occupied by Mercedes-Benz, which sold 61,809 cars (an increase of 3.6 times). Toyota (61,128 units, an increase of 3.9 times) and BMW (60,623 units, an increase of 2.8 times) finished the top-five of leaders.
