Lamborghini invests more than 1.5 billion Euro in the electrification of the model range

Lamborghini has unveiled a roadmap for the electrification of the range, which plans to invest more than € 1.5 billion during four years.

The new concept includes a tribute to the internal combustion engine and a transition to a hybrid lineup by 2024, according to Lamborghini's press office. So, in 2021, the brand will announce two new supercars with V12 powertrains. Lamborghini will launch its first mass-produced hybrid supercar in 2023, and the whole range will be electrified by the end of 2024. An all-electric supercar will be launched in the second half of the decade and will be the fourth model in the lineup.

As noted by Stefan Winkelmann, President and Chairman of the Management Board of Automobili Lamborghini, throughout the electrification of supercars, Lamborghini will continuously focus on finding technologies and solutions that guarantee the highest performance and dynamics in keeping with the brand's tradition.
