Which countries export cars assembled in Russia?

In the 1st quarter, Russians bought almost 230 thousand cars on credit

The number of cars purchased on credit (new and used) at the end of the 1st quarter of 2021 was 229.4 thousand units. As noted in the National Bureau of Credit Histories (NBCH), this figure is 3% higher than it was in January - March 2020. In turn, the experts of the analytical agency "AUTOSTAT" reported about the fall of the market * of new passenger cars by 8% in the 1st quarter of this year.

At the same time, according to the executive director of the agency, Sergey Udalov, the increase in the issuance of car loans continues to provide significant support to the Russian car market in early 2021. “If not car loans, the decline in sales would have been even more noticeable. In addition, it is explained by the continuing shortage of cars of a number of brands and models at dealerships. At the same time, both the growth of car loans and a relatively small decrease of new car sales, first of all, were connected with the implementation of state programs of concessional lending (“First / Family car”),” the expert noted.

* Market data are prepared on the basis of registrations by the traffic police; it does not include cars of law enforcement agencies and diplomatic services, as well as registration of cars in the territory of Crimea.
