AVTOVAZ is preparing to release four new LADA models until 2025

AVTOVAZ will release four fundamentally new LADA models by 2025. This was stated by the president of the company Yves Caracatzanis, according to whom the company continues the process of deep modernization of production, building up engineering competencies and improving working conditions.

As previously reported by AUTOSTAT, AVTOVAZ will bring to the market four new LADA models by 2025, which will be based on the CMF-B platform. So, for 2023, the release of two B-class models is planned: according to unofficial data, we are talking about a new generation of LADA Granta in sedan and station wagon bodies. In 2024, a new generation of Niva SUV will appear, which will receive two versions - with a compact and an extended wheelbase.

The new Niva will be exported and will appear, in particular, in the markets of Europe and Latin America. And in 2025, a new car of the C-SUV segment will appear in the LADA model range. In December 2018, AVTOVAZ signed a special investment contract with the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, the purpose of which is to support the development of the Alliance brands in Russia - LADA, Renault, Nissan and Mitsubishi, as well as the modernization of their production facilities.

Under the 10-year contract, AVTOVAZ will invest about 70 billion rubles, create 2,300 new jobs and, together with its partners in the Alliance, expand the localization of materials, parts and components, introduce new technologies, develop research activities in Russia and increase export volumes.
