The updated business sedan Lexus ES will appear in Russia

Lexus has presented the updated Lexus ES business sedan, which will also appear in the Russian market. During the development of the updated Lexus ES, the brand specialists ensured a balance between handling and comfort thanks to improved suspension and aerodynamics, according to the press service of Lexus.

The braking system has been updated with a redesigned and enlarged pedal pad. As for the interior, the screen received a touchscreen display and is located closer and at a greater angle to the driver for convenient use of the multimedia system. The updated Lexus ES is also equipped with Lexus Connected Services, which allows you to use comfortably familiar online services in the car, receive information about maintenance and analytics on travel history and driving style. The car received the latest version of the Lexus SafetySystem + active safety system, to which new functions have been added. Emergency Steering Assist makes lane control easier: if there is a risk of collision, Lexus ES avoids automatically unexpected obstacles.

An emergency stop driver assistance system has also been added, which works in conjunction with the lane departure assistance system, warning of risks and smoothly decelerating the car in the absence of a response from the driver. When an emergency stop is required, the hazard lights and horn come on to alert other road users and prevent or reduce damage to the vehicle. Lane Keeping Assist (LTA) has been enhanced with the introduction of artificial intelligence technologies. With the update, the business sedan received a new 2.0-liter engine with a capacity of 150 hp.

The engine is paired with a Direct Shift CVT continuously variable automatic transmission, which is equipped with manual first and reverse gears, which ensures a start from a standstill without losing torque, as well as durability.
