Suzuki plans to increase sales by 25% in Russia in 2021


The company "Suzuki Motor Rus" plans to sell 10 thousand cars in Russia in 2021, which is higher by 25% than a year before (7,961 units). This, according to the company, will allow the Suzuki brand to occupy 0.6% of the Russian car market - the best indicator since 2017. In 2022, Suzuki Motor Rus aims to sell 13,000 vehicles in the Russian market, said the company's CEO, Mr. Takahashi Yuta, at a press conference.

According to him, the achievement of the tasks set will be facilitated by the strengthening of the dealer network, which currently includes 58 dealer centers. At the same time, the company intends to move towards online sales, and the first step in this direction will be the creation of a personal account for customers on the official Suzuki website, which is currently being developed. In addition, it is planned to stimulate demand through the development of financial programs that should make the purchase of Suzuki cars more affordable for customers.

Today the company "Suzuki Motor Rus" sells about 40% of cars on credit and does not exclude an increase in this share in the future. It should be noted that the presented strategy of "Suzuki Motor Rus" is based on the current model range of Suzuki in Russia, which includes Vitara and SX4 crossovers, as well as Jimny SUV. The company does not plan to bring new models to our country yet.
