Ford Transit set a sales record in Russia in Q1

Russian dealers of Ford sold 1,409 light commercial vehicles Ford Transit in March, which is higher by 24% than a year before. According to the results of three months of 2021, sales of this model in our country were 3,388 cars, which is higher by 62% than in the same period of the previous year, the press service of Sollers Ford reported.

As noted, the March result was the best in terms of sales in the first spring month, as well as in the first quarter of 2021, Ford Transit set a sales record in compare with the same period of the previous year. According to Adil Shirinov, President and CEO of Ford Sollers, the company plans to double the sales of Ford Transit in Russia, while sales of special versions of cars belonged to more than 50% of the total volume.

To date, the full range of special versions of vehicles based on Ford Transit includes 145 different modifications for special and social purposes and continues to grow. The line of basic versions includes an all-metal van, bus and chassis, cars are available for order with three base lengths, two roof heights and all types of drive, including all-wheel drive. All Ford Transits are equipped with 2.2 liter turbo diesel engines (125-155 hp).
