Renault started the export of new Duster to CIS countries

Renault Russia has begun the export of a new generation of Duster SUV to the CIS countries. Since April 1st, the first cars are presented in the Belarusian market, and a little later - in Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Armenia and Kyrgyzstan, the press service of the French brand reported. As in Russia, in the CIS countries Duster has become one of the best-selling SUVs. For 9 years, more than 32 thousand cars of this model have been exported.

The main markets were Kazakhstan (16,543 units) and Belarus (15,792 units), the most popular were versions with a mechanical transmission and all-wheel drive. Renault currently exports the whole model range produced in Russia: Renault Logan, Renault Logan Stepway, Renault Sandero, Renault Sandero Stepway, Renault Kaptur crossover and Renault Arkana coupe-crossover.

As AUTOSTAT previously reported, the serial production of the new Renault Duster started at the Moscow Renault plant in January 2021, and the new product appeared on sale at Russian dealers in March.
