Skoda Octavia is available with new engines in Russia

Russian Skoda dealers have begun the accepting of orders for the new Octavia with an expanded range of engines. So, as the basic power unit for the model, it is offered a four-cylinder 1.6 MPI / 110 hp engine combined with an automatic 6-speed gearbox.

The 1.4 TSI engine with 150 hp, which is available since the launch of the new Octavia, works in tandem with a 6-speed manual transmission or an automatic 8-speed transmission. The modification with the most powerful, new turbocharged 2.0 TSI engine, developing 190 hp, is equipped with a 7-speed preselective robotic gearbox DSG and it is offered from 1 million 929 thousand rubles. The new Octavia, with a redesigned exterior and larger dimensions, is equipped optionally with full LED matrix headlights, previously available only on the Superb.

In terms of interior upgrades, the model features a new steering wheel range that includes a two-spoke design. In addition, Octavia now has a new front fascia that resembles the silhouette of the bonnet and the brand's signature radiator closer. The standard equipment of the new Octavia is much richer than before. According to the head of the Sigma Service sales department, Georgy Konovalov, Skoda Octavia in the new generation A8 is a fundamentally new car that surpasses its competitors in all respects. The new Octavia has grown, both technically and optionally, Skoda moves to a new premium level with this model.
