Russian GAZ trucks are being sold in Australia

For the first time in history, sales of Russian GAZ Sadko Next trucks began in Australia. AAV Company from Brisbane became the distributor of GAZ "Sadko Next". On the local market, the model was presented under the name GAZ TrackMaster 4x4, writes the Motor.ru portal.

Since Australia has left-hand traffic, Russian trucks were exported with right-hand steering wheel and pedals. Especially for Australia, the all-terrain vehicle was equipped with round Soviet-style headlights, around which there are plastic pads. The technical characteristics of the Australian GAZ "Sadko Next" are similar to the Russian specification of the truck. The all-terrain vehicle is driven by a 4.4-liter turbo diesel with a capacity of 150 hp and 490 Nm. The unit works together with a 5-speed "mechanics" and a transfer case - using buttons on the dashboard.

In addition, the car is equipped with a reduction gear, as well as front and rear differential locks. The truck is already in the "base" equipped with power windows, cruise control, as well as air conditioning, multimedia system, snorkel and electric winch. Thanks to the cargo platform, the internal dimensions of which are 3400 mm in length and 2175 mm in width, the all-terrain vehicle can carry about 2500 kg of cargo. The price of the GAZ TrackMaster 4x4 is 90 thousand Australian dollars (approximately 5.2 million rubles at the current exchange rate). At the same time, a truck can be purchased in Russia for 3 million rubles.

According to the distributor company, the cost of the nearest competitor of GAZ starts from 120 thousand local dollars (approximately 6.9 million rubles at the current exchange rate). In addition, the importer of Russian cars plans to bring to Australia in the near future a seven-seat "Sadko Next" with a two-row three-door cab.
