Hyundai summed up the results of sales in Russia for 2020


By the end of 2020, Hyundai Motor CIS plans to sell about 163 thousand Hyundai vehicles in Russia, which is lower by 9% than the previous year. This was announced by the managing director of Hyundai Motor CIS Alexey Kalitsev, by adding that, according to the company's forecast, the Russian car market this year will show a similar fall - by 9-10% to 1.55-1.56 million new cars. As a result, the market share of Hyundai brand remains at the target level of 10.3%.

Recall that in the first quarter of 2020, an updated Hyundai Solaris sedan and Hyundai Creta crossover appeared in the Russian market, and sales of a sports version of Hyundai Tucson N Line crossover started in April. The main novelty from Hyundai in 2020 is the new full-size crossover Palisade, which is available for order from the end of November and is already arriving at dealerships. In addition, the seventh generation Hyundai Elantra sedan appeared in our country in December.
