Production of passenger cars grew by 10% in November

According to Rosstat, for 11 months of 2020, 1 million 132 thousand passenger cars rolled off Russian conveyors, which is lower by 19.7% than in the same period of the previous year. Meanwhile, 137 thousand cars were produced in November, which is higher by 9.8% than a year before. It should be noted that St. Petersburg plant Hyundai started the production of the updated cross-hatchback KIA Rio X in the previous month. The production of trucks in January-November was 124 thousand units, which is lower by 12.6% than in the same period of the previous year. Last month, 16 thousand trucks rolled off Russian conveyors, which is lower by 1.1% than a year before.
